Botanic Garden

It was my second trip to Botanic garden, as well as the first time to cover all areas of the park. Frankly speaking, it’s advisable to carry a map of the park to avoid circling around the area and better still if there is someone good in navigation bring him/her along.
Although I haven’t received my DSLR, I am trying my best to use my existing Canon IXUS 870 to its best performance.

I shall start off with this nice shot of mine. It was a combination of 3 shots, merging into one picture with tone mapping correction to it. There are slight ghost effect on this photo, but nonetheless, it’s an improvement to my HDR skills.

A cluster of photographer was there much earlier than us. The park was so rowdy with different interest groups enjoying the nice scenic.
It was such a warm day and we both agreed that the weather wasn’t that nice for photography.
I must also admit that Botanic Garden is a very nice park, a good place for people to exercise, walk the dogs, pinic and of course, relax.

However, I still find that travelling there is a bit inconvenient thou, but overall, it seems to be much better than the zoo.

I will now let the photos do the talking and lead you through this nice Park if you haven't had the chance to visit it.

Submitted 2 photos which is of different exposures.

A shot from Lainey using my camera while we switched our camera.

The man behind all the nice shots.
A future talented photographer.

In conclusion, i am so exhausted today. Tomorrow marks the 1st day of my new DSLR and i have already chosen the location where i am going to do my 1st set of photography. Stay tune for more on my next blog entry!!!
