Joo Chiat Diary

Joo Chiat Street, this is a street that walks down the history of Singapore with its unique Peranakan shop-houses structures that till to-date, many Peranakan are still residing at.

I took a morning stroll along this street and hopefully my pictures provide a different feel while justifying the beauty of this area.

To be frank, the area is not just all about black and white, some of the buildings are in vibrant colours.

Starting with the back alley, I was even chased by the cats that dominates the whole area.

Do remember to take another look at this beautiful place when you pass by it. Who knows it might be replaced by big modern buildings with our constant progressing society.
