Tying their wishes on the branches…

Listening to the bells, it is so peaceful at this temple

Weird bonsai

These stone sculpture holds history behind them telling the stories of this beautiful temple. There is a poem, I believed most people should have heard of…
張繼《楓橋夜泊》詩
月落烏啼霜滿天,江楓漁火對愁眠,姑蘇城外寒山寺,夜半鐘聲到客船.

Suzhou history carries through from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. Where the 太平天國 was actively involved in this place. So if you are interested in History, this is definitely one place not to be missed.
We ended the day shopping at their local city area. It wasnt as glam as Shanghai. Mostly local brands to the locals.
