Sorry for the cobwebs, was very busy lately with some personal stuff... I actually do have some pictures of the Flower exhibition that i went to with my family and friends...a pity i cant seem to extract them out from my sony ericsson Hp..Vista is pathetic with softwares... ...so here are some which i bluetooth to my sis's nokia and loaded up on my blog...

WHAT DAY IS TOMO???

Really lost count of the day recently...and to be frank like what petty said...my blog is getting a little boring...(Hey, don push ur luck petty =S)
There isnt anything happening these days and trying my best to keep it a little up-dated, i can only offer some events or daily highlights "of mine" at the moment...

And frankly speaking, it would be fun if i really try introducing "Petty"... A VERY INTERESTING LADY!!!" haha..fat hope!

Lately in office, i have been hearing and seeing "things"....annoying drilling sounds of renovation in the air! Nice drafted email sent by bosses with greatest respect, ME in the cc list.
Is my eyes failing from insufficient rest or was it my sight failing after a day staring at the computer.

I really thought i would faint seeing this email. Not from shock but visualising my boiling blood shoot up and bursting my skull, spraying all over the place!!!

This is no new discussion in office and if this is in a form of legal case, i bet, i would have been to court for almost 4 times....repeating the same things. Doesnt the judge get annoyed? Wah Lau!!!

Charily not to burst my last blood vein, i calmed myself and start thinking what i should do to FULL STOP this whole thing. Personally, i found the whole event -- or, more accurately, monologue --rather insulting.

Its not a fair barter trade!!!

I have been nagging like the world's most terrible uncle that you can find..and yet...no one takes me seriously. And I am not into speculating how wrong i might be when my boss always comes forth to say "The Nice Jackson" and days later seeing things coming to me that aint appearing in my duty statement.

I decided to make my stand firm and if it is a "must" to erase away my nice smiley face, i would have to do so...

It only took 5 mins to read through and finally everyone recalled that there was an agreement already.(ORHHHH....) So i got my assurance once again that things is finally getting in place..

As expected while i approach the taking over sup by handing over the documents like what was told to me by my sup earlier...LOOKING BLUR AND DEFENSIVE...she immediately sprang the word "DON'T KNOW" x 3...and that is where i rupture, warming up to my theme of discontent.."Then who will know??? You do know that i have taken over the role that used to be under your staff?"

N i do applause her that she still has this bit of guilt that although not providing me an answer...but at least smiling while Tai Chi-ing it to her sup instead...(maybe she sense me holding a rod behind my back!!!) (Visualising again =P)

Sigh, this saga is not going to end any sooner and im trying my best to ignore all of them...and i really hope the next topic won't be any closer to "WHAT A NICE CUBICLE, I HAVE DONE!" Please don't turn me into a wimp!

Company D n D at Swiss'otel

DnD this year, comparing to last year didnt show much differentiation. Except...my table this year seems to be filled with new faces...

Shuling, Shu Feng was replaced by Valerie and Alvin..

Where Haze, Shi yuan and the Revenue muslim girls group was a replacement of fresh blood from the old group...people such as Crystal, Candy, Jo were no longer with us this year...

Ermm and of course, the turnover during this period was hard to recall...

Let me try...haha...we have got the short transition group, people like Sis cheryl, mei yek and ben...

The older group....Jen, Sandy, LTT....oh haha..we got sarah goh meeting up with FC. The old and new bosses...

But please don't ask me for the names of the fresh blood except for Joshua my buddy because i had a hard time remembering the names of the newer group...and it seems like i didnt put in much effort..feeling a little too tired about re introducing myself and understanding others.

If i am going to stay another one more year, i believe i would be all by myself then...

Already knew that Sharon, Weisen and Qiuling is leaving us soon....i believe more are to come with corporatisation in place...I really hope Val won't think about leaving at the current state and if she does...please not before me.....(Praying)

Away from the usual venue at Suntec...this year, we held it at Swiss'otel...

Compare to last year, the theme this year seems to be much easier….alot of people turn up in their 60’s.

As home prices continue to decline and loan defaults mount, federal regulators are bracing for dozens of American banks to fail over the next year.


But after a large mortgage lender in California collapsed late Friday, Wall Street analysts began posing two crucial questions: Just how many banks might falter? And, more urgently, which one could be next?


The nation’s banks are in far less danger than they were in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when more than 1,000 federally insured institutions went under during the savings-and-loan crisis. The debacle, the greatest collapse of American financial institutions since the Depression, prompted a government bailout that cost taxpayers about $125 billion.


But the troubles are growing so rapidly at some small and midsize banks that as many as 150 out of the 7,500 banks nationwide could fail over the next 12 to 18 months, analysts say. Other lenders are likely to shut branches or seek mergers.

And the government may have fewer failures than in the past because private investment funds might buy some troubled lenders. Regulators are considering rule changes that would allow private equity firms to buy larger shares of banks, and several prominent investors, like Wilbur Ross, have raised funds to leap in.

My concern over here is...

Remember reading all those articles on people getting sued for blogging....

Nice things about blogging??? Not much people mentioned...

For me....haha..it earned me a bear....my own unique, graduating Bear!!!!

Getting a graduation bear which i humbly mentioned...or should i say a casual remarks..and true enough, i had my wish granted...instead of the Forever Friend trademark bear....they made me one at "Build-a-Bear"





The paws especially cute if you manage to get to see it live..according to Manager...there is a micro chip sew inside the bear for identification purpose..and also a wish made inside...but somehow this wish seems to be so secretive that no one told me what wishes they have made on my behalf....

Ermmm time will make it appears???

Saving plan

Since i have finished serving my credit card loan for my school fees...there is no excuse not to start saving...

Can you believe because of the mid year bonus, i spent casually last month with my credit card bills totalling up to almost $1k..

It means, this month i won't be able to save again...

Since my last 2 weeks were spend in camp, i should expect minimal expenditure next month...

Before i find a higher paying job, what i can do now is to spend cautiously...

Maybe i will prioritise the things i need and get those that i urgently need. No more etravagances spending..and hopefully i will save enough for my next year trip to Taiwan...

This in camp was pretty much saddening towards the end...when bad news was announced to some of my in camp mates that they will posted out to other units...

I should say these are expected...who ask them to idle throughout the camp...haha playing cards and not helping out the least bits...

Ermm but who knows i might see them again next year.

haha..there is a v funny storeman we met this year...supposingly he is still a NSF,...but seriously autistic...

The problem is...we don know if he is scare of us, or is he just to shy to speak....

Whenever we started asking him what he wants...he would look at the ground..mumble and slowly walk to one corner where he will just remain in that position for at least 20 mins..
really Mr Autistic, and i believe he is so glad we have left...no one to disturb him anymore...

Thats so much for my this year in camp..next year will be going for range...

Arrgghhh..feeling sick these days......back to rest...

Flowery Sunday

Was suppose to meet A(sensitivity) for lunch today...so sorry got to cancel it last min...hearing the plight he is in now over the phone..felt abit guilty to aeroplane him...

I can only tell him this...Sometimes things just don't move your way...and if you feel you have been really nice to her..but the treatment isnt reciprocal and it is so difficult for you to not question and demand the same treatment back..then why not let go???

Y still be so nice in the first place? then cross ur fingers hoping she will be nice to u too? =x

At times we knew things will change and it has changed...so why bother to keep harping on things that you cant control and trying your best to turn back time...to the original state?

It is only a matter of time and i believe you can do it...

Haha...Petty must be laughing at me for giving advise when im not any better, Im silly at times too. Well i can only say, everyone has their own silly times...its only when you will wise up =P ....anyway hope he will be fine!!!

Move to a nice topic

Okay i admit, i ran back office today to print out an email which i wanted to bring back camp on monday..and this is what i saw last sat...Finally after 2 years of nurturing....can see the tiny bud?


And here after one week...it blossom...frankly speaking when i got these from Shan...i didnt know what color the flower would turn out..and waited patiently for it to appear....

There, both plants blossom on the same day....isnt it wonderful? Does it mean that things will turn lucky for me?

This is Yen San's plant....which i got for her...and they blossom really nice too



There we have the one i got for Fion...its the only one that has shrunk...
No flowers...because you water it so much...


Enjoying my cup of wang jiao in office....ate the lunch at wang jiao and since it is still early...i went back to office to clear some emails...



And surprisingly, today saw the long lost friend crystal online..and it seems like our gathering nv actualise after so long...when was the last time we confirm chop guaranttee on the dates??? Really hope this round we can finally gather....and Fion if u r reading...pls pls pls...don go back Johor!!! Haha

Ermm surprisingly not much people know who she is....to be frank if it was not by chance hearing her album in that CD shop at marina square while im drawing some money from the ATM...i won't know who she is too....

Apparently her publicity was kind of low...

Why i wanted to talk more about her?? Well i think as a singaporean, we should be proud that we have a good singer like her..and to be frank..she sings really well...its a matter of time before she becomes the next big hit...

There aint any negative news of her and personally i like her songs..i mean her way of singing...

I managed to find some of her videos in youtube and uploaded some here...."these videos arent recorded by me" (*do remember to pause the playing song in my blog at the right bottom music tool bar while watching this vid)

My first book out

After like 1 year, this is my first book out...1 week stay in camp...ermm a correction, almost 1 week stay in camp...

Tuesday i went off for some personal stuff....ermm....and surprisingly this in-camp is v "enjoyable"...

Apparently other than sending some rations on thursday...most of the time..im having my own free time...reading, playing psp, chinese chess and ermm sleep sleep and more sleep...

The only flop on this "sleep sleep sleep" thing is that i am sleeping in a smoking zone...if it was like SQ flights, i would have requested for non smoking bunk...

Making it worse...when smokers become too free in camp...they tend to smoke n smoke n smoke.....at one point, i was even made breathless i had to shift over to another bunk....

Haha..and if u think this is bad...there is somemore...
i admit i am a light sleeper but what will be worse than loud snorings from one bed to another and it happened that u are sleeping in the center?

anyway there is just one more week to go and i believe its not the worse...

My bunkmates are so fun..even after one year, we still has so much to prank on...

Believe me, if u think i am lame....they are worse.

and i guess they missed my prank as well.....

I am so tired now..and i plan to sleep through this weekend..at least...recuperate myself a bit....
