Back to the trip, It should be Day 4 when we arrived at HangZhou and the most famous spot in Hangzhou should be it's famous West lake(西湖).
In the past, i only get to see the pictures on flickr of this beautiful lake.
The locals spend most of their time here and even people from the other areas also visit this lake to spend their weekends.
To the locals, this is not just scenery but a place where many many stories were told.
We reached there around 4pm which was sunset and according to the guide, we were lucky to avoid fog at the lake.
Sunset make the place felt warm..
This is where we board the boat ride..
Okay, its really tough to take a landscape picture when...
there is no subject mountain,
no foreground like stones, plants etc
no background, like blue skies, clouds
so this is the best shot i could do...the setting sun
This small girl is very cute..she is always beside our singaporean guide and i managed to snap a few natural shots. If there is still another competition on expression, i think i will win!
The boat bring us around the lake but were never near to the small islands.
We ended our trip and left for dinner early so as to catch the Xihu show at night.
Okay, Joshua mentioned to me about this wonderful show that i must catched and so i was full of hope for it from the first day i reached China. Indeed, i think it is one of the best stage play that i have saw in my life.
And of cos, my lens did me well with all these night shots.
Yue Fei's story
this is one of the best part, the laser that look real
The thousand hand buddha
There were a group of old japanese sitting infront of us, i think there were enjoying the show.
The finale
My cozy hotel room
The eerie toilet
Oh this basket can be found in most hotels we stayed...its meant to be a basket to throw in the used towels..and those hanging at the same spot will be deemed as clean or unused.
The night view of HangZhou
