It was another day of Photography session organised by Bro Victor. Well, the response wasn't that good, so ended up only the 2 of us do our street photography at Orchard Road.
To be frank, it tends to make me feel a little braver with a partner in shuttering off at people.
Well Victor has an eye for streets photography and he is really talented. To him, there isn't any rules for street photography..and all u do is keep snapping...
Well, for this session, i chose to bring my FM2 loaded with films with me to test out my voigtlander lens. I am going to develop them tomorrow and hopefully, there are a few shots that can be used.
Well, its kinda weird for me to be suddenly so enthusiastic after a photography session to go for another, but i did. I even went home to change cameras and gears before leaving for town for another Night Photography!
I recalled that day when i visited Millenia Walk with Fionis and spotted this nice scene...guessed that everyone would be busy shooting Helix, i might as well avoid the crowd and have the place to myself...
And so here i am...The first few shots went too underexpose and there was too much distortion that i had to give them up!
But at least, there were some shots that could be place for display. Shooting landscape and streets are totally different. A blurred photo or a random picture in street photography can turn out pleasant or artistic. You shoot like crazy and each picture has a story and feel behind it. But landscape is different, you take the same scene over and over testing out and making sure you get all the details you want.
Next, you will choose just the best picture among all and use it. So basically, in landscape shots...all u need is just 1 photo!
Millenia Walk in sepia...the flyer is purple!
This place is all about refection
Looking up!
