I have never been so focused in working, never so willing to take on more sophisticated task, never been so willing to stay late in the office picking up bits and pieces of the alien jig saw puzzle reports!
But here i am once again clicking hours in the office. It has been so frequent that I went back to the office on a Saturday and bringing work home that makes it look as if I'm enjoying it.
Horrendously, all these deprive me of my leisure timing.
However, i have no complains over them. I am trying as much as i can to absorb. Absorbing all the knowledge and skills that i have missed in my past few years.
Since i promised myself to hang on and take in as much as possible till Decemember, i will keep to my promise.
Just wish me luck!

OM1N..Olympus Zuiko OM lens
I bought this camera last week before i went for my annual ICT.
Consider its age, it is definitely one that is in mint condition.
This camera is really light and compact. One of the tiny SLR during that time.
I took some flowers as a test to the lens and im simply convinced and overwhelmed with the results
Beautiful bokeh with the lights behind totally out of focus. Another praise to Kodak cheap and good film(Max 400)!
Tried some outdoor pictures
Testing the 28mm lens which i have bought
haha the movie that my friend wanted to catch but didnt...
Overall...this camera and lens is really good!!!
I'm glad i have gotten this wonderful set from the previous owner and i think it will be in really good hands of mine. :)
I didn't really want to get myself another system but then, in order to use the Olympus Zuiko OM lenses, i need to find a SLR body.
And within that week itself, i got both the camera, a 50mm f1.8 and a 28mm f2.8 lenses.
I got the camera and lenses from 2 different person and coincidentally the camera and lens belongs to the later person that i got the lens from. He happened to sold off the camera to the guy who then resell to me.
I got a really good price for the whole system! Much cheaper than my Nikon FM lenses and camera.
Consider its age, it is definitely one that is in mint condition.

Jiu Fen & Wu Lai
This should be the last set of photos for taiwan...
I lost a roll of film on Ximending, Shilin and the taipei 101...sigh...but at least there isnt much to share for those as well...
Alot of people told me that Jiu Fen is very nice, but maybe because of the wet weather and the crowded tourists there, i couldn't really enjoy much.
Since it is famous for its old streets, i took quite a handful of pictures on them.
There isnt much delicacy there..but this stall that i went it was quite good..maybe becos im hungry
There is this old store here selling all the 60's 70's toy and products...really interesting.
I bought this from here but i cant find it anywhere in my luggage...
In Taipei, the 2 most popular place for Hot spring is either Beitou or Wu Lai. Apparently, Beitou is too commercialize among the locals yet it is a favourite among tour group and unless you are on your own free and easy, you wont be able to visit this rural and secluded Wulai.
Trust me, it is a much nicer place where there are may trails that you can walk after hotspring session.
We took the mini rail to the waterfall which is one of the icons here in wulai..the journey is a short 15mins ride...
the magnificent waterfall...just that the flow is too thin...
cable car services is available to the top of the hill...
Its real serenity here! Grab a cup of tea and listen to the sound of the waterfall...
On our slow stroll back...
We found a path down to the river...where there are streams of hotspring here...
The locals love going down to soak in the natural hotspring here.
And finally, my last picture taken at Taipei...Before we tabao ourselves back to Singapore...
I missed a chance to visit their camera streets!

Reservist reservist!~
I am getting ready to go for my annual ICT...which starts on monday and end on friday...
Yeap a low key exercise, but the thought of going back to a camp really sucks.
If only i can choose..i would never choose to go...
1) In Camp Training
2) IPPT
I think without these 2, life would have been so carefree and perfect!
Anyway, i need to finish my report this weekend so basically can't go anyway and make any plans...not even when im booking in on monday!!(a term, very very distant ever since i ORD) lol..
At least the minimum, i caught a really funny movie on Friday with Jarmi and Fionis.
If you are in for a laugh, i strongly recommend KICK-ASS...the name sound dumb and like Jarmi says, if she saw the poster before we bought the tickets, she would not have joined us.
But its really hilarious and it isnt those dumb laughing movie that has no storyline...i basically laughed from the start till the end...
And all it takes is 5 mins before everyone in the cinema gets really rowdy! Rowdy with laughter!
I think there was some part, i was tearing...soooo go catch it..you wont go wrong!
I chanced upon this on a forum...a really nice advertisement.

What are we chasing....
Have you ever wonder what you are chasing after in your life?
Remembered all your ambitions that you listed down in your little composition notebook during your primary school days?
It seems that realities are poles apart from dreams and all the while, people are trying to chase this dream of theirs where often in the process, they neglected a lot of things, and some even hurt themselves along the way.
However, it is true that you can’t live a life without a dream. It would then be so hollow and so empty…
Just don’t over rely on this dream that it takes you away from reality.
Often in life, we keep chasing and chasing for all sorts of material/immaterial items that we ignore the people, surrounding around us.
It is often good to take a step back and see the things around us…see how fortunate we are…and learn to appreciate what is there for us instead of dreaming what we want!
It took me long enough to spot this plant which has been all the while outside my corridor...
When was the last time you lifted your head and away from your ipod, iphone etc and look into the skies???
