The best MinSu i have stayed in this trip!

There are like countless Minsu in Taiwan and seriously, staying in Minsu is not all about how big the room is, how comfortable the bed is, or how grand the place can be...if you are comparing based on the above, you might wish to consider a Hotel that provides room services.

I think staying in Minsu, is all about the experience with the locals and all you need is a nice owner that welcomes you and you will definitely enjoy the stay. Along with the people that you will meet at the same Minsu, you might make a few friends during the stay. In comparison with staying in Hotel, you don't really speak to people who stays the same floor as you. It's all about interaction in Minsu!

Starry House(觀星園) was the Minsu i chose for our Cingjing Stay! The owner, 李大哥 operates the place with his wife. They are really friendly and cooks a lunch for us free when we actually intended to eat cup noodles.




The dinner was one of the best steamboat i ever had..there was no msg in the soup..


The owner was not even stingy about the ingredients, he gave 2 of us quite alot of food...


Mushrooms were organic from the farms


I really enjoyed the food here


This was their Husky, which has 2 different eye color. The other eye was red in color. This dog is super well train...look at the apple on the floor, she was not allowed to eat unless the owner give the go ahead!


The owner told me, he bought the land and built the house for like NT40,000,000.


Day 1, we went to catch Yun Hai..but was quite disappointed, due to the fog, we cant really see it from Starry House, but at least we caught it at the opposite mountain for just an hour after the sky clears.

And this is Cingjing Farm...the main tourist attraction here. As you can see, it was quite foggy when we went.


They are quite smelly


These are the young ones, not alot to roam freely like the others


You need to pay like NT200 for the rides, i gave it a miss as the house are equally smelly




Finally the fog started to disperse away...






Before we left, we saw the Nice blue sky!!
