Mini Mittens

If you noticed, its been a long while since i last posted any decent photographs.
Partly because im busy with chores and work as well as some other activities that kept me really very occupied. But the main reasons was because i was preparing for my new website, something that i finally decided to start.

I think i really found some passion in taking child photography and i think maybe i should start by offering some services at a cheap rate that is rather affordable to everyone.
Haha, to be frank, i think a baby or child will always look nice and natural on pictures. And seldom you will hear complains that "Im ugly, Im fat" etc, compared to adults.
So it required less of my skills and more of patient since all i need to do is wait for some interesting expression and moments before i click the shutter.

In a way, this services will brush up my skills, add on to my interest in photography and hopefully subsidize part of my hobby. haha

So i hereby announce my new Photography services...Mini Mittens. Mittens was suggested from Elyz and Mini Mittens was further supported by my elder sis so i thought it was pretty good compared to "My little shoelace" which i initially wanted to use.

Meanwhile, i do not have much pictures to share at the site, so instead of compiling more of my portfolios, i decided to just roll out and build my portfolio along the way.

Credits to Fionis for the write up and proof reading...so in any case if you find any mistakes, its not really my fault..lol...anyway just kidding, thanks for her time to introduce and set up this website for me. Was initially thinking about buying a domain.

My very occupied Week!

Suddenly my life become super occupied. The whole of last week, i didnt stay a single day late in my office. Somehow i cannot believed i met the same person thrice in a week and its all about camera.

Then we had a great gathering celebrating Guo Dong's bachelor night! I finished almost half a bottle of my Moscato and i know i know elyz while reading this will say its some sweet sparkling juice but to me, i never had so much before!Im surprised that my alcohol tolerance level has improved tremendously.

Following the next day with a swim and tanning session at the pool, im glad that i didnt have a hang over from the previous night drinking...the day was quite rush for me, since there is a photography session with Calyn and thereafter had to attend Sherry's baby shower.

Then i caught the movie "Detective Dee" by Andy Lau. I really think the movie has a great storyline and plot and the director filmed it so well that i wanted to start a blog entry here deciphering the whole stories and plots that might be a little spoiler for everyone.
Me and winnie agreed that SKII isnt working well with Carina Lau. We could see the aging signs on her very clearly. So is SKII really good?

So Saturday was super occupied for me, and it has been so long since i last had such a fulfilling day.

Sunday was equally good. I had an enriching session with Sifu Chua on wing chun and i managed to pass his expectation to personally teach me de 5th form of Siu Lim Tou. I was also given the green light for some interactive fast punch with a fellow senior. Although it sounded like some martial movie, the teachings from Wing Chun is more than just a few stances etc. There are things like concentration, posture etc that i felt i have improved. I never had my back aching again ever since i take on this exercise.

So if you seriously ask me to recommend a great sport, you might wish to consider taking up Wing chun.

Right now, i felt that i have somehow achieved a balance in personal life and work and i hope i can continue staying like this.

My new Zest Icode bag

Xiaoying was the one who asked me to go check out bags..and ended up im the one who is buying the bags and not her. TSK!

Anyway its a really good buy. ALways wanted to get a new bag for my camera since the past fews are all purchased 2nd hand and really use them to the max condition already.

I was quite surprise with the bag when i received them. It exceeds my expectation and the workmanships is really superior. In no way is it inferior compared to crumpler.

I have gotten the extra large and the medium, size wise cant really tell much difference between the 2 but then on the inside, the extra large has twice the load capacity compared to the medium




The light beige color bag is a limited edition since the factory stopped production of that color.

So good bye my bagman bag which has followed me almost everywhere since 1.5yrs ago...
Its time for him to retire and i managed to sell it off for $30(im the 2nd owner).

A non-commission introduction

It all happened with my big mouth introduction of my Red GF1 that i somehow influenced my friend to get it.

Initially i felt quite good that my recommendation got thru to my friend but....this is just the start of a nightmare!

So happened that she has a thing for red color that she can foresake any price just to get a red color GF1 camera...and becos of this, somehow i was acting as the middle man with this guy whom i have coincidentally gotten mine from.

And she asked me countless questions that seems to be repeating over the same topic...
"So can this lens do this? Hmm....so the background blur?", "Will this camera be able to...." At times i seriously think she know the answer but...ermm..

Anyway, i thought that it would be the end when she decided to get it but somehow my fate played a trick on me and i don't even know why suddenly i am walking a long distance to meet the buyer for this camera.
N the worse part..its realli a long and humid walk....and finally paying for the cab.

I am glad that the whole buying process is over...ERM hopefully....

Anyway Congrats to my friend who has gotten this camera! Its a really good camera, and hope you will use it well. Time to throw the prosumer away!

After 8 Years

After 8 years, this is our first gathering. Glad that we still have this chance to meet up.

Winnie still look de same but very chatty...and i didnt know she was so chatty since during old poly days, we didnt really interact much.


Had our dinner at Ding Tai Feng..and spent many hours just chatting away.

There after went over to Tea Dot to continue our conversation




Will be meeting up more often next time!~
